Why Skadi began
Skincare has always spoken about ageing. But women going through perimenopause and menopause were describing something more specific.
Skin that suddenly felt drier. Tightness that returned only hours after applying cream. A loss of softness, radiance and resilience. Products that once felt effective no longer seemed to be enough or became too aggressive for skin that felt increasingly reactive.
The problem was not that their skin had stopped responding.
Its needs had changed.
